@flarez what a well thought out and educated response. You certainly changed my opinion of you with that one

  2. flarez says:

    @jumaki15151 Fuck off

  3. jumaki15151 says:

  5. cycmendoza1 says:

What an amazing story! If you read about Anne this is how Dave would have wanted to pass on

  6. flarez says:

@Philipbeavan so what’s your point? what are you trying to say? what’s the use of a helmet cam and a bodybag in a situation like that? what’s to be researched about that? bring something to the discussion or fuck off

  7. jamiek99 says:

@flarez No it’s not, its true, I read the book “Raising the Dead” Amazing story, so good I’m gona read it again!

  8. Philipbeavan says:

Flarez – if you did even a modicum of research you’d realise how stupid your comment is — try finding out a little about a subject before speaking — you’ll look infinitely less idiotic!

  9. flarez says:

this whole thing of picking up the corpse is absolute shit, creepy, media crap for TV.
    the bodybag, cameras etc.. wtf!?

…otherwise, good documentary, and very important to have the growing number of technically orientated divers watch things like this.
    RIP David Shaw.

  11. scubademon666 says:

As a dive professional, I always have to ask myself… Why can’t journalists and filmmakers ever do their research properly? Aren’t there any dive pros proof-reading?

“…if a diver ascents too quickly, air bubbles can become trapped in his body, producing an excruciating condition, known as the bends…”

It is inert gas, nitrogen and/or helium, depending on the gas mixtures used, that form bubbles in a diver’s body, causing decompression sickness, commonly known as the “bends”. It is NOT air!
